Community Meeting – Question the Local Councillors

Hi Folks

We are holding a Community Meeting at the Rock pub on Tuesday 18th April at 7.30pm (see attached flyer). We are lucky to have three guests in our local coucillors Cllr Caroline Gruen, Cllr Julie Hesselwood and Cllr Kevin Ritchie. They will be available to answer any questions you have of them during a question and answer session.

We will also be discussing forthcoming events and volunteering opportunities.

Hopefully, you will have noticed all of the 12,500 daffodils we have planted over the last 6 years including those we planted last year in the community garden (next to the Rock pub). We need your support to keep this type of improvement going so please try to come to the meeting and let us know if you want to get involved..

Two dates to note are two Community Garden Dig days:
Saturday 22nd April – 10am – 12 noon – meet at the garden Leeds & Bradford Rd
Sunday 7th May – 10am – 12 noon – meet at the garden Leeds & Bradford Rd
There are still plenty of planting spaces left in the garden so if you are splitting plants in your own garden or have any spares please feel free to donate them to the garden where everyone passing will see them.

(p.s. Please accept our apologies for the email about the litter which arrived after the event. Google mail took three days to send the email out for some reason).

Thank you

NAWRA
